Japan Angels is a curated community of 150 active angel investors: founders, operators, and domain experts sharing high-quality deal flow, due-diligence insights, and market intelligence.

We collaborate, co-invest, and occasionally form syndicates when a larger check size helps promising founders go further. Most of our members are based in Japan. A growing number join from abroad. Membership is open to any active angel investor with a genuine interest in Japanese startups.

Our mission is to strengthen Japan's early-stage startup ecosystem through smarter, faster, founder-friendly, and globally-oriented angel investing. The kind of capital that stays useful long after the wire clears.

In person, every two months.

An evening. A room of angels. A handful of founders with something to raise.

Roughly six times a year, we gather in Tokyo. Invited founders who are actively raising pitch in front of the community. Members ask sharp, useful questions. Then we network. No panels, no sponsors, no performative keynotes.

It's the kind of room where commitments happen over a drink, and diligence continues the next morning in a shared thread.
